The Dearborn Heights Ski & Snowboard Club is for skiers and snowboarders in grades 6-12.  It  provides  members many services, including lessons, skiing/boarding with other  members, and participation in any or  all  of the trips at reduced rates.

MEMBERSHIP FEE:                                 

$8.00  for Dearborn Heights residents,  $12.00  for  non-residents (See Application On Back)

THIS FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE..                            

DEADLINE FOR MEMBERSHIP:                               

Submit applications to the Dearborn Heights Parks & Recreation Department by Wednesday, December 19, 2007.  A late registration fee of $2.00 will be added to applications received after that date.

TRIP FEES:

The cost  of each trip will be: $34.00 per skier , $41.00 per snow-boarder.  This includes  lift   ticket,   lesson  ticket, proficiency patches and  transportation.  A  $14.00 rental equipment   package  is available,  which  includes  skis, poles  and boots.  A  snowboard  and  boot  rental package  is available  for $18.00.

The weekly permission slip with payment must be delivered  to the Canfield Center  by  the Wednesday 1:00 p.m. prior to each trip. This slip  can also be sent by FAX (313) 791-3601 with payment by Visa or Mastercard, including expiration date.  A DROP BOX  is available at the entrance to the Canfield Center for deposits when the building is closed.                

CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellations may be made by calling  the Dearborn Heights Parks & Recreation  Office at 791-3600 before noon Thursday prior  to the Friday ski     trip.  A  new slip must  be filled out  with the  make-up date and returned by Wednesday noon prior to the make-up ski trip.  If  it is a late cancellation  or  no-show  a $10.00  bus charge payment  must  be attached.
